The Basics of Turbulence Training

Turbulence Training is built on four basic ideas:

One interval-training works. Interval training is a quick workout combining fast-paced maximum capacity bursts of activity with short recovery periods. Interval training gives the same benefit as longer cardio workouts but in a shorter amount of time.

Two, low-rep high-weight strength training is good for building muscle. For a long time the suggested way to achieve a tone, trimmed figure was to do a lot of reps with a low amount of weight but this revolutionary program proves otherwise.

Three, bodies require fuel, and a lot of it, to build muscle and burn fat. This may seem counterintuitive at first but eating less can throw the body into starvation mode, slowing down the turbulence training body’s metabolism, causing the body to hang on to every fat cell that it can in protest. This program works by encouraging eating more of the right foods to fuel the body properly.

Four, body-weight bearing exercises are the best exercises because they require the coordination of large muscle groups and require no costly or gimmicky equipment.
